Ya know, I wasn't paying much attention when it happened but I finally caught that six teen girls beating up another teen girl video... It is reminiscent of that Lighthouse scene in Battle Royale! They even kinda sound the same! So ... shrill.
I noticed they were tried as adults but I haven't seen any updates on the status of their trial. must be that gag order. Seriously, wtf is wrong with these people? |

So I watched some of the 'videos' for the song and I suddenly wondered if these people were aiming for humor or if... they just didn't know what "wall-to-wall" meant in this context. *sigh*
on the plus side, I sent the lyrics over to the guy who runs the IHB and he responded, so I may be able to feel special if it actually makes it onto the blog. (we take our amusements where we can find them!)
Got badges for Blizzcon, so I have a stack of them + lanyards on the kitchen table. Vy gets here on Wednesday (I think?) the rest should get into town on Thursday. It will be nice to hang out with my guildmates in the real world. :) |

There are a pair of nerd boys, in that bad, kind of ackward, antisocial way (one of who keeps staring at my chest), who, without fail, are talking, a little too loud, about the new Starcraft release.
I just chuckle inwardly.
Every morning.
I start class happy.
I just... want to look at them and go "You think you're better than me... but I am, by association, cooler than you will ever be."
But, I don't.
Because then I'd have to talk to them.
* raid leader and his fiancee are slaves to academia and what she really means is "while taking public transportation to the college I teach at." Apparently she felt that this comment could be misconstrued. |

I'm getting really sick and tired of bluetooth headsets not only looking like something meant for a lego man, but the noise cancellation is just a JOKE.
It's windy in these parts and the sound can be quite deafening when piped through a cellphone and into your delicate ears... and I happen to like chatting while driving around with the top down which is just not feasible these days.
I want a throat mic that will work with my iphone, damn it. |

found this while dredging through the lj again... amazing what insomnia can do to a person.

I think I need to finally get off my ass and plan a trip up there, even if for only a few days. I really miss you guys. If there is a specific set of dates that would be good (or bad) let me know. :)

The BYOC (bring your own computer) area was actually kind of interesting. Thousands of computers with some of the biggest monitors I've ever seen. The one that really stuck with me was seeing a BBQ grill converted into a PC case. That was hawt.
Now for the real humor... as I was walking through, my iphone on random coughed up "I'm Horny" from E-rotic. *eg*
It has really prompted me to consider fpses again... the few times I played with the boys over the LAN in seattle were so much fun, even if I was getting my ass kicked. So we'll see. Maybe my 'frag the weak, hurdle the dead' shirt won't be such a joke to me in the future! heh. |
